What Atlantive is

Atlantive is research software for designing and testing trading strategies. It runs strategy code you or its agent write against historical price data, and reports statistics about what that code would have done over that data.

It does not place orders, hold funds, connect to a broker, or execute anything in a live market.

Not investment advice

Nothing produced here is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell anything, or an offer or solicitation to trade. Output is generated by a language model and by simulation, and both are wrong sometimes.

A backtest measures one strategy against one series of past prices. Past performance does not indicate future results. Searching many variants reliably produces good-looking results by chance alone, which is why the agent reports how many it tried. Trading carries risk of loss, including loss exceeding your deposit where leverage is involved.

Any decision you make with this software is yours. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any market you trade in and any licensing that applies to you.

Your account

You need an account to use a workspace. Keep your password to yourself, use an address you control, and tell whoever operates this deployment if you think somebody else has got in.

There is no automated password reset, because this service sends no email. A forgotten password is set for you by an administrator, and doing so signs that account out everywhere.

One person, one account. Do not share credentials, and do not open accounts to get around a credit allowance.

Credits

Running the agent costs money, because every turn calls a language model that whoever operates this deployment pays for. Each account has an allowance, measured in US dollars of model spend, for the current calendar month.

A new account starts with whatever allowance this deployment gives one, which may be nothing at all. Credits are granted by an administrator: they cannot be bought here, they have no cash value, they are not refundable, and an unspent allowance does not carry into the next month. When an allowance is spent, the agent stops starting new turns until the month rolls or an administrator raises it. Everything else in the workspace keeps working.

Your code and your data

Strategies, analyses, datasets and conversations in your workspace are yours. whoever operates this deployment stores them to run the product and does not claim ownership of them.

Prompts and code you write are sent to a third-party model provider to produce the agent's answers. Do not put anything in a workspace that you are not willing to have processed that way.

Acceptable use

Do not use Atlantive to break the law, to attack this service or anybody else's, to get around its credit allowance or its sandbox, to mine cryptocurrency or otherwise use the compute for something unrelated to research, or to generate material that harms other people.

Strategy and analysis code runs in a container with no network access. Attempting to escape it is a termination, not a bug report, unless you have been asked to test it.

Suspension

An administrator may disable an account that breaks these terms, that is costing far more than its allowance was meant to cover, or that appears to be compromised. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why.

No warranty, and what we owe you

The service is provided as is. There is no warranty that it will be available, that a backtest is accurate, that the agent is correct, or that your work will not be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, whoever operates this deployment is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of this software.

Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be announced before they take effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.

Who operates this

This deployment has not named an operator. It is running from the Atlantive source with the operator identity left unset, which means these pages describe the software rather than a service anybody is offering you.

If you were given access to this by someone, they are the operator, and questions go to them.
